Remember when I mentioned that the Santorini hotel room looks like a Thai brothel? I'll let you be the judge of that. Fitted with yellow light to keep it consistently sleazy at night as well.

We woke up real early so as not to miss our free ride to the port which was god damn far away.

We arrived early and I grabbed a cuppa.

I think we took this to Mykonos. If not I won't take pictures of it right? Anyway, this is the express type of ship. If you're the type that turns green on sea, you might wanna take the express.

We call her 人参阿姨 because she look like the classic Korean auntie from the 50s (or some long time ago)! You should have seen her husband. Such a cute couple.

I made a call beforehand and the hotel staff is kind enough to offer to pick us up. Down season rocks! When we reached the dock, we were swamped with representatives from all the hotels trying to solicit business.

As the ship took longer than usual, our driver was missing. The crowd cleared in record timing. I was supposed to look for a 'dark man'. Shoudn't be too difficult considering there is NO ONE ELSE around anymore. We finally spotted him and within minutes, we are at the hotel room #1.

Shuyi harassed more cats at the recep which was (wo)manned by the friendliest girl we're met. Vicky was a great help. And she love cats as well. They would make great friends.

Normally 4-5star hotels will have this card whereby you need to slot into a device to power up the room. Our hotel have something else. A magnetic keychain. You just stick it on the plug and viola! That's new!

The room was beautiful! Look at the view from our balcony.

No time to waste. Let's get a move on! We grabbed a map from Vicky and off we went. The map looked like they 'ctrl-P' google earth. I don't know how to read maps anyway.

We saw this humongous cactus on our way to town. There were some cactus juice on sale in Santorini. We didn't get any coz it sounds like it would taste crappy. Cactus?

They say cats can sense danger. This one, when faced with the biggest crisis in it's life, put up a tough front.

The sun was setting when we arrived. Just another sunset. I'll spare you the agony of seeing another horizon-of-the-sea picture.

At the coast, we met his uncle who volunteered to take a picture of us.

After this shot, he made me his bitch by ordering me to take a whole series of shots for him. And his instructions was hillarious:

Actually I'm not entire sure but I think this place is called 'Little Venice'. Why Venice? Mykonos is a world famous party island. Hollywood stars would fly to Mykonos to party during the high season. Little Venice is supposed to have a few respectable clubs as well. But the real action is at the Paradise and Super Paradise beach where entry for clubs can be as high as 40€ to 50€.

Aparently this lady is quite famous. There were some framed newspaper cuttings hung outside her shop in various languages about her.

Freshly made (i think) pasta displayed outside a French restaurant. They really have everything!

The white markings on the floor were painted on. We saw workers painting the floor at night. They really take the 'white on white' colour scheme seriously.

It was getting late and we were famished. After going high and low, consulting many menus, we ended up at the worst restaurant EVER. Easily the worst meal of the trip. It all started when we were there waiting for our food when we heard a definitive 'ting'!

He is serving us microwaved food?

We were served the driest piece of chicken thigh in Greece.

After the worst dinner ever, we headed back to our room. On the way, we saw...

them Japanese are crazy!

The only place on earth where things are changing so fast and yet the people still hold so much pride in their tradition. This is pride. If the restaurant we ate at just now was in japan, the cook would be expected to disembowel himself for serving such bullshit.
